I have a question...
How do I pay?
I accept cash, check or credit/debit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover). In compliance with Texas law, I cannot accept orders or payment directly through my website.
|
How much notice do you need?
Please place your order at least 10 business days prior to pick up or delivery. On occasion I may be able to do a rush order, but still need at least 36 hours notice.
|
Do you deliver?
Local delivery is available for a $5 fee. Delivery outside of Austin city limits may incur a higher delivery fee and is not available outside of Travis County. I can also meet you at a mutually agreeable location.
|
Do you ship?
Sorry, as a Texas Cottage Food business, Cowgirl Treatery cannot ship products.
|
Hey, is this even legal?
Yes, it is! As of September 1, 2011, home bakers may sell certain products under the Texas Cottage Food Law. Sales must be made for personal use. Home bakers cannot provide products for resale.
|
Can I get a free sample before I order?
I can provide you with up to three cookies or cupcakes, as available, before placing a large order (four dozen or more). Samples will be over runs from a recent order. Cupcakes will be the same flavor; I cannot make cupcakes in different flavors for sampling.
|
Can I serve your products in a hotel or other public venue?
Texas law permits this if the event is private and not open to the general public. A party, wedding or even a ticketed event is defined as not open to the general public. Check with the venue first to see if they permit outside food to be brought in and if it must be prepared in a commercial kitchen, which I do not have.

Can you do Mickey Mouse cookies?
Copyright law prohibits reproducing images and characters like Mickey, Olaf, Hello Kitty and others. Ask me about working with you to create items that coordinate with your theme while not violating copyright law.
